Job Description

The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently, reliably, and safely to support daily operations while minimizing downtime and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment as needed.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with production and other departments regarding equipment concerns and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
• Assist in inventory monitoring of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, Industrial Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in maintenance, equipment repair, or engineering support is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.
• Physically fit and willing to work in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Willing to be assigned in Parañaque City.
