Job Responsibilities – Two-Way Radio Technician

The Two-Way Radio Technician is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, testing, and maintenance of Cignus two-way radios and related communication equipment. The role also involves providing technical assistance to customers and ensuring efficient after-sales support.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and maintenance of two-way radios and related communication equipment.
• Diagnose, inspect, and evaluate defective radios, returned units, and service units to determine the appropriate repair procedures and provide accurate technical recommendations.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of repaired units to ensure proper functionality before release to customers.
• Document repair findings, service reports, parts used, and diagnostic results for proper monitoring and record-keeping.
• Assist customers by addressing technical concerns via telephone, mobile phone, Viber, SMS, and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
• Provide clear and accurate technical information and recommendations regarding repairs, replacements, and maintenance of radio equipment.
• Conduct field visits, ocular inspections, technical support, or product demonstrations when required by customers or management.
• Support the installation, configuration, and programming of radios and related communication systems when necessary.
• Coordinate with the sales and service teams regarding technical concerns, repair status, and customer requirements.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of repair tools, spare parts, and service equipment.
• Continuously update technical knowledge on new radio models, communication technologies, and repair techniques.
• Perform other technical duties and responsibilities assigned by management related to service and repair operations.
