JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the hospital’s network and technical communications run smoothly. He monitors and maintains the company computer systems and networks, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.

1. Sets up work stations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
2. Installs and configures appropriate computer hardware and software and functions according to specifications.
3. Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks including documentation.
4. Provide technical support (may be in person or over the phone)
5. Performs troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts).
6. Add, remove, or updates user account information to computer systems and devices.
7. In charge of email creation, issuance and deletion of account, where he/she has the master list record of departments and offices’ email addresses.
8. Ensures security and privacy of networks and computer systems
9. Provides audio-visual support to hospital events, meeting and projects, if needed.
10. In charge of computer and device purchase, repair and replace in coordination with the Supply Officer.
11. Manages and maintains the backup systems and ensures retention and storage are met.
12. Coordinates to Bizbox provider for system maintenance and updates.
13. Attends seminars or trainings in relation to different systems from DOH and other national/local government offices.
14. Assists employees in orienting or familiarizing computer systems, if needed.
15. Encodes supplies and evaluates and assigns supplies and medicines for accounting computation in the system.

Education / Certification and Licenses:

1. Graduate of BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or a relevant field.

Experience 

1. With at least one (1) year experience as an IT Staff or related experience. 
2. With knowledge in basic PC troubleshooting, LAN and WAN configuration, and installation
3. Familiarity with computer hardware and networks and systems
