Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

  • JLPT N5 to N3 level or higher (JLPT N2 level is a strong advantage).
  • Preferably with at least one (1) to two (2) years of experience teaching JLPT N5 - N3 level. 
  • Applicants without prior teaching experience may still be considered, provided they are willing to undergo the company's instructor training program and successfully complete the required technical assessment.
  • Strong command of both spoken and written Japanese, with the ability to effectively deliver language instruction.
  • Must be fully available and committed to conducting onsite (face-to-face) classes.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Japanese language instruction in accordance with the company's curriculum and quality standards and familiar with materials such as Irodori, Tobira, or Shin Kanzen is a plus.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities that support effective language acquisition.
  • Assess learners' progress through evaluations and assignments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Monitor student performance and attendance by effectively utilizing Google Classroom, and demonstrate strict diligence in writing comprehensive progress reports.
  • Foster a professional, engaging, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Coordinate directly with the Nihongo Coordinator regarding class schedules, learner progress reports, instructional concerns, and other academic matters.
  • Perform other teaching-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
