About the Role:

Sagan connects experienced tax specialists with US-based businesses. Your experience will be matched to relevant client opportunities, with specific responsibilities confirmed during the selection process.

Position Overview:

Support tax preparation and filing workflows through accurate workpapers, organized records and careful deadline management.

You do not need to cover every specialty. Tell us which responsibilities you have owned and where you are strongest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and organize records needed for tax preparation.

• Prepare or review workpapers within your training and assigned scope.

• Track missing information and filing milestones.

• Support review and filing workflows under the responsible tax professional.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Clear written and spoken English and careful attention to detail.

• Practical experience with tax preparation software, workpapers and financial record systems.

• Examples of work you have personally handled in your selected specialty.

• Availability for US business hours and an independent contractor engagement.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience supporting US-based clients or teams and familiarity with the industry you would support. These are preferences, not requirements for every opportunity.
