Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file all required national and local tax returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and other government tax requirements.
• Handle and manage all BIR Letter of Authority (LOA) cases from receipt until resolution.
• Coordinate with BIR examiners during tax audits, investigations, and assessments.
• Prepare, organize, and reconcile documents required during LOA examinations.
• Review tax assessments and recommend appropriate actions, including the preparation of protest letters and supporting schedules when necessary.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of all statutory reports.
• Reconcile tax accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
• Keep updated with changes in tax laws, BIR issuances, and government regulations.
• Provide tax compliance advice and support to management and other departments.
• Assist during external and internal audits involving tax-related matters.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen tax compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in taxation, tax compliance, and handling BIR Letter of Authority (LOA) cases.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in handling tax audits, assessments, and BIR correspondence.
