Job Responsibility:

• Manage tax audits, assessments, and investigations conducted by the Bureau of Internal Revenue
• Prepare and review responses to Letters of Authority (LOA), Notices of Discrepancy (NOD), Preliminary Assessment Notices (PAN) and Final Assessment Notices (FAN)/Formal Letter of Demand (FLD)
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and consultants
• Identify tax savings opportunities within legal parameters
• Provide tax advisory support to management on business transactions
• Ensure proper documentation and substantiation of tax deductions
• Assist in tax risk assessments and internal control improvements
• Review tax provisions and deferred tax computations
• Reconcile tax-related accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist in financial statement audit requirements
