Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes)
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations (e.g., BIR rules and deadlines)
• Maintain accurate tax records and supporting schedules
• Compute tax provisions, accruals, and deferred taxes
• Assist in tax audits, assessments, and examinations
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors or tax authorities
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on the company
• Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency
• Reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare tax reports and management summaries

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling BIR audits and tax assessments
• Knowledge of international tax, transfer pricing, or tax treaties (for multinational companies)
• Background in audit or public accounting firms
