Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT, witholding tax, and other statutory taxes)
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements (e.g BIR rules deadlines
• Maintain accurate tax records, schedules, and supporting documents
• Compute tax provisions, accurals and deferred taxes
• Assist in tax audits, assessments, and examinations
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
• Reconcile tax- related accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor updates in tax laws and assess their impact on the company
• Support tax planning initiatives to improve tax efficiency
• Prepare tax reports and summaries for management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting, audit, or public accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and regulations
• Familiarity with eBIRForms
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Good communication and time management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
