Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance/help to Immediate Superiors for the achievement of Quality objectives.
• Understanding of core Internet protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP3 etc.)
• Experience of supporting some or all of the following web technologies: Apache; IIS; JBoss/J2EE Application Servers; MySQL
• VMware/virtualization technologies
• An understanding of load balancing technologies
• An understanding of server Virtualisation technologies
• Performance tuning of systems: system, network and applications
• Technical writing skills for documenting environments and procedures
• Netapp NAS technology
• Working experience with intrusion detection systems
• Experience with software and security architecture
• Knowledge in supporting ORACLE ERP R13
• Ensures information regarding system downtime/ problem/resolutions done are properly disseminated to all USERS on time.
• Configure, monitor and maintain the pfSense gateway running on dedicated hardware to secure the local network,. manage, handle multi-WAN load balancing
• Administer and optimize the Oracle VM Server hypervisor architecture, including provisioning, maintaining and scaling virtual machines
• Administer and troubleshoot Oracle Real application Clusters (RAC), Automatic storage management (ASM), and Data Guard replication to maintain 24/7 uptime for R12.2.11
• Perform and to end environment refreshes and cloning using Rapid Clone (adcfgclone.pl) for the R12.2.11 application tier
• Coordinate with the Core DBA for database level changes and the System Admin for host OS (Oracle VM) setups.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years in the same line of work
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems or any related Computer Courses or its equivalent exposure
