Description

Manage and maintain both on-premises and cloud-hosted servers, including Active Directory, server virtualization (Windows and Linux), ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Modify and update user account information based on requests and approvals, ensuring compliance with standard access security policies.
Oversee day-to-day server operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and support, to ensure high system performance and availability.
Address and resolve issues escalated by the IT Service Desk and other support groups in a timely manner.
Assist in recovering files and databases from servers experiencing hardware or system failures, and conduct regular disaster recovery and application recovery testing.
Submit required reports (weekly, monthly, or ad-hoc) to the department manager or management.
Conduct ad-hoc troubleshooting to isolate and resolve system abnormalities.
Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to the IT Systems Team.
Identify areas for process improvement, develop improvement programs, and monitor their implementation to enhance process efficiency.
Design, build, and maintain both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, facilitating the migration of applications and data to the cloud.
Deploy, configure, and support virtual and physical systems, software, and users across multiple sites.
Create and maintain documentation related to server infrastructure services, configurations, support, and processes.
Play a key role in migrating and transforming legacy solutions to current standards.

Requirements

Graduate of BS Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
At least 5 years work experience in related field
Proficiency in Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, Hypervisor, Sangfor HCI, and other server virtualization systems.
Hands-on experience with VOIP systems, including the SIP protocol.
Solid experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems administration.
Knowledge of cloud architecture, including AWS EC2, S3, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and Radius configuration and management.
Proficiency with NAS, SAN, SQL, Oracle, and DB2, along with patch management.
Strong understanding of system security and data backup/recovery practices.
Solid understanding of SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 protocols, with basic experience in email gateway management.
Basic to advanced knowledge of networking, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, SDWAN, IPSEC, SSL VPN, and VLAN. Expertise in this area is an advantage.
Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
Resourceful, flexible, with excellent communication and reporting skills, motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable to complex environments.
Willing to be assigned in Muñoz, Quezon City
