The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The role ensures timely availability of products, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

1. Procurement & Supplier Management

• Closely coordinate with the Purchasing Department for the procurement of products and supplies.
• Facilitate forecast and demand planning across all inventory.
• Perform other tasks that may be required by the position.

2. Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory.
• Implement inventory control systems, such as FIFO and FEFO for medical items.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliation.
• Minimize stock-outs, overstocking, and expiries.
• Monitor consigned inventory in coordination with the sales team.

3. Warehousing & Distribution

• Oversee warehouse operations and storage systems.
• Ensure proper handling of medical products in compliance with standards.
• Manage dispatch, delivery scheduling, and coordination with sales teams.
• Improve efficiency in order fulfillment and delivery timelines.

4. Logistics & Transportation

• Manage transportation planning and routing.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and couriers.
• Ensure timely delivery to hospitals and clients.
• Monitor transportation costs and optimize routes.

5. Process Improvement & Cost Control

• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs, including lead time, fill rate, and inventory turnover.
• Develop cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with financial controls and the budget.

6. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, especially for medical products.
• Maintain accurate records of Purchase Orders , Delivery Receipts , and Inventory reports.

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with internal departments, including Sales & Marketing , Finance & Accounting , and HR & Admin.
• Provide regular reports on inventory status , procurement plans , and supply chain performance.
