Job Description
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics for Milaor Trading Corporation, a dynamic wholesale/distribution company based in Legazpi.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimize logistics processes to meet customer demands.
- Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster a safe, team-oriented work environment.
- Collaborate with other company departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Implement operational policies and procedures. Ensure efficient utilization of space and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring the safety of staff.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS), excellent organizational and leadership skills, understanding of inventory management practices, and knowledge of legal requirements of warehousing.
- Working Conditions: Position may require standing, walking, and lifting for long hours in a warehouse environment. Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and the capacity to oversee warehouse operations effectively.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to motivate and lead a team, adaptable to change, and a continuous improvement mindset.
