Officer In Charge

The Officer-in-Charge (OIC) oversees the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth sales flow, accurate cash handling, proper inventory management, and excellent customer service. The role acts as the second-in-command and performs Store Manager duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Job Qualifications:

• At least 1–2 years experience in retail, cashiering, or store operations (preferred)
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
• Computer literate
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willing to work on-site and on shifting schedules

Responsibilities:

Store Operations & Leadership

• Supervise daily store operations including opening and closing procedures
• Monitor staff performance and ensure proper workflow
• Act as Store Manager when the Store Manager is not present

Sales & Customer Service

• Ensure achievement of sales targets and support store sales operations
• Handle customer concerns and resolve complaints
• Maintain high customer service standards

Cashiering & Financial Accuracy

• Operate POS system and handle daily cash transactions
• Prepare and reconcile daily sales reports and remittances
• Ensure accuracy of discounts, prices, and promotions

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
• Assist in inventory counting and reconciliation
• Ensure proper merchandising and product display

Reporting & Coordination

• Report sales, inventory, and operational issues to management
• Coordinate with management for store concerns and improvements
