Structural Fitter

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ironworker / Structural Fitter for an upcoming manpower pooling initiative. This role involves erecting, connecting, and securing structural steel components within industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Steel Erection: Erect and connect steel columns, beams, joints, and trusses.
• Rigging & Crane Signaling: Plan and execute rigging, hoisting, and crane signaling for safe steel placement.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret structural and erection drawings, including connection details.
• Bolting Operations: Execute bolt-up, installation, and tensioning of bolts, nuts, and washers to specifications.
• High-Elevation Work: Perform duties comfortably at heights up to 100 feet using elevated work platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent, verifiable experience in industrial facilities.
• Certification: Canada Red Seal or Trade Qualifier status is highly preferred but not required.
• Safety: Proven ability to work safely at high elevations and operate aerial work platforms.
