Job Title: Shopping Mall Retail Store Manager


Location: Shopping Mall at Santa Cruz, Laguna


Job Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth workflow, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service. The manager will lead and motivate the store team while maintaining operational standards, inventory control, and compliance with company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  2. Achieve sales targets and monitor store performance metrics.
  3. Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
  4. Ensure proper inventory management, including stock replenishment and shrinkage control.
  5. Implement company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance.
  6. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  7. Coordinate with mall management regarding promotions, events, and facility needs.
  8. Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and store operations for senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Speaks Chinese, Tagalog or English Fluently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum [X] years of experience in retail management, preferably in a shopping mall setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Language Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in Tagalog or English for local communication.
  • Must also be fluent in Mandarin or Fukkien for communication with Chinese-speaking customers and staff.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, and inventory management.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Performance-based incentives and benefits.


The compensation structure for Chinese employees of the company consists of four components: monthly basic salary, meal allowance, annual general salary increase, and performance incentives. All compensation items are calculated in Philippine pesos (₱). The specific standards are as follows:


Job Category:

1.Entry-Level Position:

  • Monthly Basic Salary (): 60,000
  • Meal Allowance: ₱30,000
  • Annual Salary Increase Standard: Starting from 2nd year upon contract renewal, a fixed annual increase of ₱8,000


2.Store Manager (Full-time):

  • Monthly Basic Salary (): ₱80,000
  • Meal Allowance: ₱30,000
  • Annual Salary Increase Standard: Starting from 2nd year upon contract renewal, a fixed annual increase of ₱10,000
  • Performance Incentive: (----%) of the annual net profit of the store(s) under management.


Note: Compensation is paid at the end of each month.


Year-End Bonus

  • The year-end bonus is determined based on the employee’s cumulative length of service and is paid at the end of January of the following year. The settlement currency is Philippine pesos (₱).
  • Employees who have completed six months of service are considered eligible for a full year’s bonus. Employees who voluntarily resign or are dismissed for disciplinary reasons within the year are not entitled to receive the year-end bonus.


The year-end bonus standards are as follows:

Length of Service: Basic Position / Store Manager (₱)

  • 1st Year: ₱60,000
  • 2nd Year: 80,000
  • 3rd Year: 160,000
  • 4th Year and Beyond: Fixed annual increase of ₱80,000



Note: Length of service is calculated based on the employee’s cumulative service across all stores under the company.
