Stockman (Food Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Stockman to manage inventory, receive deliveries, and ensure proper storage of food supplies and materials. The Stockman plays an important role in maintaining organized stockrooms and supporting smooth kitchen or production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries of food supplies and materials.
• Check items against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Properly store items following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stockroom and storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damaged goods.
• Assist kitchen or production staff with stock requests.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
• Help with loading, unloading, and moving stock items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in stock handling, warehousing, or food service is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory control and storage procedures is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
