Job Description
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule (pick, pack, label)
- Act as dispatcher and supervise the loading and unloading of stocks by the Delivery Drivers to ensure nothing is amiss
- Provide assistance or direction to logistics and other stockroom workers
- Ensure that all stocks/supplies reach the stores/Office on time and in good condition
- Assists on performing cycle counts and monthly physical count
- Receive and process incoming warehouse stock products
- Ensures all received items are in good quality and correct according to the quantity ordered
- Maintain all crates, shelves, and racks are properly refilled with stocks
- Guarantee and maintain items in acceptable quality standards
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any damage to supervisor
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner. Practices First In, First Out Basis (FIFO) of stocks. Keeps tab of expiration dates of stocks
- Ensure that all supplies are properly identified, stored, and labeled with Manufacturing Date or Expiry Date
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
- Repack items/supplies that need to be dispatched in appropriate packaging
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom
- Fill in the position of delivery staff in the absence of any of the Delivery Drivers
- Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability
- Recommend disposal of excess, damaged or defective, and obsolete stock
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time
- With relevant experience
- Computer Literate
- Can start as soon as possible
