The Stockman is responsible for supporting daily store operations by managing inventory efficiently, keeping storage areas well-organized, and assisting the sales team through timely stock replenishment and handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept incoming deliveries of products, supplies, and materials; check quantities and inspect items to ensure they match delivery documents or purchase orders.
  • Store fragrance oils, essential oils, perfume bottles, packaging supplies, raw materials, and other items properly, following safety guidelines and labeling requirements.
  • Keep the stockroom and backroom clean, orderly, and systematically arranged for easy access and accurate inventory tracking.
  • Refill shelves and display areas in coordination with Sales Associates to maintain product availability and proper presentation.
  • Track stock levels and inform the Store Supervisor or Branch Manager of fast-moving, slow-moving, and low-stock items.
  • Perform routine stock counts and support regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and handle items for transfer, pull-out, or distribution to other branches in line with company procedures.
  • Assist in labeling, packaging, and refilling fragrance oils, premixes, and bottles when needed.
  • Handle and move inventory with care, especially fragile or spill-prone items like glass bottles and essential oils.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving, storage, and backroom areas in accordance with store standards.
  • Provide support to the sales team during busy periods, including bagging items, preparing products, and assisting with basic store upkeep.
  • Follow all safety and security protocols, particularly in handling liquids and fragile materials.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Store Supervisor or Branch Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least a high school graduate; training in logistics, warehousing, or inventory management is an advantage.
  • Preferably with at least one (1) year of experience in stockroom or warehouse operations in retail, supermarket, or specialty stores.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes and inventory items.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills for counting, labeling, and monitoring inventory.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Honest, dependable, and responsible, with strong respect for company assets.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.
