Description

Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with product inquiries, provide information about the items, and ensure a positive shopping experience.


Product Knowledge: Understand the products being sold (whether food, clothing, crafts, or other items) and be able to explain their features and benefits.

  • Sales and Transactions: Handle cash and electronic payments, operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, and ensure accurate transactions.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Sales Experience (optional but beneficial):
  • Previous retail or sales experience can be an advantage.
  • Ability to upsell or suggest products to customers.
  • Basic Math Skills:
  • Able to handle cash transactions, count change, and process credit card payments.
  • Ability to track stock levels and assist in inventory management.
