Site Nurse

Generally, responsible to ensure effective and efficient implementation of Company rules and regulations, policies, program and procedures such as the following:

Description of Responsibilities:

1. Provide immediate care, first aid, and emergency response for injuries or illnesses on-site.
2. Administer routine health checks and ensure workers are fit for duty.
3. Maintain first aid kits, medical supplies, and accurate health records for all employees.
4. Conduct health and safety training on first aid, equipment handling, and emergency procedures.
5. Promote good hygiene practices and health awareness to prevent workplace illnesses and injuries.
6. Record and report all incidents, accidents, and treatments, and collaborate with the safety team to improve safety practices.
7. Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and assist with policy development.
8. Implement wellness programs and provide mental health support for workers.
9. Develop emergency response plans and conduct regular drills for accidents and evacuations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
• License/Certification: Valid nursing license or registration from a recognized nursing board and OHNAP Certificate.
• Experience:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Nursing, Preferably in occupational health, construction, or industrial settings.

- Experience in first aid and emergency medical care.

• Skills:

- Excellent first aid and emergency care skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal Skills.

- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage emergencies effectively.

- Knowledge of occupational health standards and regulations.

- Familiarity with construction safety procedures and guidelines.
