About the role

Brighter Abilities is seeking a part time Speech Therapist to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients improve their communication abilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that is passionate about empowering individuals with speech and language challenges.


What you'll be doing

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' speech, language needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address identified issues
  • Provide 1 on 1 and group therapy sessions to help clients achieve their communication goals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, teachers and behavioral coach to provide holistic care
  • Maintain detailed client records and progress reports
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech therapy


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the Philippines
  • PRC License required for practice as a Speech Therapist
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a healthcare setting but not required
  • Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language
  • Experience in treating both speech and language disorders across various communication challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing challenges
