Description
- Evaluating levels of swallowing, speech and language difficulty
- Identifying treatment options
- Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs
- Teaching patients how to make sounds while improving their voices and maintaining fluency
- Working with children in developing and strengthening muscles used to swallow
- Counseling individuals on ways to cope with swallowing and communication disorders
Requirements
- Must have Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Licensure
- Masterpiece degree in Speech-Language pathology
- Familiarity with communication disorders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Positive and patient demeanor
