Responsibilities

• Define solution approach, technical architecture, system integration patterns, and non-functional requirements for the covered workstreams. 
• Review and guide implementation designs, API contracts, data flow, security controls, and deployment considerations.
• Create architecture decision records, risk logs, technical options papers, and handover documentation as needed. 
• Support sprint planning and backlog refinement where architectural input is required.
• Guide troubleshooting and remediation strategy for cross-system issues without becoming the single production operations owner. 
• Coordinate with mWell technology, product, security, and business stakeholders as directed by the project owner

Job Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering or solution delivery, with at least 3 years in solution architecture or technical architecture leadership. 
• Strong AWS architecture capability, including security, networking, compute, managed services, observability, availability, and cost-aware design.
• Practical experience with Angular or ReactJS, NestJS or Python or PHP Laravel, PostgreSQL, API integrations, and modern CI/CD workflows. 
• Ability to translate business objectives into architecture decisions, integration designs, technical standards, and implementation guardrails. 
• Experience working with production systems, repositories, cloud accounts, sensitive data, and controlled-access environments. 
• Healthcare, claims, EMR/HIS, insurance, or regulated-data experience is preferred.
