SOLAR INSTALLER

Company: PHIL-ISLAND BUILDERS CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICES

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Solar Installer responsible for the installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of solar panel systems and related electrical components.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install solar panels, mounting structures, wiring, and related equipment.
  • Assist in the installation of solar inverters, batteries, and other system components.
  • Perform electrical connections and cable routing according to safety standards.
  • Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of solar systems.
  • Inspect solar panels and installation components for defects or damage.
  • Ensure proper alignment, mounting, grounding, and securing of solar panels.
  • Follow company safety policies and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Coordinate with the Solar Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Project Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties related to solar installation as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least High School graduate; vocational or technical training is an advantage.
  • Experience in solar installation, electrical work, or construction is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical wiring and tools.
  • Physically fit and willing to work outdoors and at heights.
  • Willing to travel or be assigned to project sites.
  • Hardworking, responsible, and willing to learn.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of solar PV systems.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read basic electrical or installation plans.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
