What You Will Do

• Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and deliverables, with a focus on self-service kiosk hardware and software. Create, review, and update test plans and test cases for kiosk applications and related systems.
• Test Execution: Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for self-service kiosk applications and related systems. Conduct manual testing on both hardware and software components to ensure product quality.
• Defect Identification and Management: Identify, document, and track hardware and software defects and issues. Work closely with the development team to reproduce, analyze, and support resolution of reported issues.
• Quality Assurance Support: Provide feedback and report test results to contribute to product improvement. Learn and apply best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Continuous Learning and Compliance: Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to QA. Ensure compliance with eTap safety, security, and information security protocols.
• Other Duties: Perform additional job-related tasks or functions that may be assigned from time to time while maintaining alignment with company standards and processes.

What a Junior Software QA Engineer Looks Forward to Doing Well

A Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer aims to ensure the quality and reliability of software and hardware systems by effectively executing test plans, identifying defects, and supporting issue resolution. The role focuses on building a strong foundation in software testing principles while contributing to the successful delivery of self-service kiosk applications.

Through collaboration with the QA and development teams, the Junior QA Engineer helps improve product quality by accurately reporting issues, validating fixes, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. The role also emphasizes learning industry best practices, developing technical skills, and gaining hands-on experience in both software and hardware testing environments.

By staying proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality, the Junior Software QA Engineer contributes to delivering reliable, user-friendly, and high-performing systems that support business and customer needs.
