JOB DESCRIPTION

The Social Media Manager will lead social media strategy, channel governance, campaigns, team or agency execution, and performance improvement. This position requires ownership of channel strategy, team or agency execution, brand risk, and measurable social media results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set channel strategy, audience priorities, content direction, and performance targets.

• Lead internal creators, community staff, agencies, or external partners.

• Approve content calendars and manage escalation, reputation, and crisis-response procedures.

• Allocate campaign resources and coordinate paid and organic social activity.

• Present cross-platform performance, insights, risks, and recommendations to management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field preferred.

• 4–6 years of social media experience, including strategy, agency, or team leadership responsibility.

• Proven social media strategy and leadership experience.

• Strong brand, community, reputation, analytics, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Able to manage agency or team output, budgets, and performance targets.

• Experience handling online issues and executive reporting is preferred.
