Social Media Operator

Focus: Web3 / Crypto Exchange / Multi-Account Operations

Salary Range: RM 6,000 – RM 8,000

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage the daily operations of the project’s social media accounts, including Twitter/X, Telegram, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
2. Operate multiple social media accounts as part of a content matrix. Develop content directions, posting rhythms, and growth strategies based on the positioning of each account to increase visibility, engagement, and conversion.
3. Build and manage social media content calendars, including daily and weekly content planning, campaign schedules, event timelines, market trend tracking, project updates, and promotional content planning.
4. Independently plan and produce content, including tweets, long-form posts, short video scripts, campaign announcements, project introductions, community engagement content, AMA content, and trend-driven content.
5. Use Notion to build and maintain content management systems, including content calendars, posting schedules, asset libraries, account management, task tracking, and performance reviews.
6. Stay up to date with trends across Web3, crypto exchanges, public blockchains, DeFi, Meme, AI, and related sectors, and quickly turn market trends into social-media-friendly content.
7. Use AI tools to improve content production efficiency, including copywriting, content optimization, translation, localization, creative concepts, video scripts, and short-form video support.
8. Support basic video editing tasks, including short video editing, subtitle creation, event footage organization, AMA highlight clips, and promotional video repurposing.
9. Work closely with the marketing, BD, community, and project operations teams to support project announcements, partnership releases, campaign promotions, KOL collaborations, and community growth initiatives.
10. Regularly review social media performance data, including follower growth, impressions, engagement rate, shares, clicks, and content performance, and optimize content strategy based on data insights.

Job Requirements

1. Prior experience in social media operations within Web3, crypto exchanges, public blockchains, wallets, DeFi, Meme, or related industries is preferred.
2. Experience with crypto exchange social media operations, trading platform campaigns, Launchpad activities, user campaigns, or community growth is highly preferred.
3. Familiarity with the Malaysian market is preferred, especially experience in local community operations, localized content creation, or social media growth for Malaysian users.
4. Strong English content writing skills.
5. Strong content planning ability, with the capability to independently manage content topics, content calendars, posting schedules, and communication rhythm.
6. Proficiency in Notion, with the ability to build clear content management tables, task boards, asset libraries, posting calendars, and performance tracking systems.
7. Familiarity with the operating logic of overseas social media platforms such as Twitter/X, Telegram, Facebook, YouTube, and other major platforms.
8. Ability to use AI tools to improve content production and work efficiency, such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, CapCut, Midjourney, and other related tools.
9. Basic video editing skills, with the ability to independently produce simple short-form video content.
10. Proactive, execution-driven, sensitive to market trends, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accounts and tasks running in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience operating official social media accounts for crypto exchanges or Web3 projects.
2. Familiarity with crypto trading user language, including spot trading, futures, campaigns, airdrops, Meme, Launchpad, and related content formats.
3. Experience building content calendars, Notion workflows, or social media SOPs.
4. Good visual sense, with the ability to use Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools to create basic visual content.
