Job Overview:

Service Engineer is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial air conditioning systems, including VRF systems and chillers. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or lead a small team. Ensures optimal system performance, minimizes downtime, and maintains high safety and service standards while coordinating closely with clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential air conditioning units, including VRF systems and chillers.

2. Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance to keep systems running efficiently. 3. Identify issues and perform necessary repairs on mechanical and related components.

4. Read and work from technical drawings, and system specifications.

5. Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements for better energy efficiency.

6. Attend to emergency service calls and ensure minimal downtime for clients.

7. Prepare and maintain service reports and documentation.

8. Follow all safety standards and ensure compliance during site work.

9. Coordinate with clients, contractors, Project Manager, and technicians for smooth project execution.

10. Assist in processing and coordinating site permits when required.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related course.

2. Hands-on experience in servicing and repairing VRF systems and chillers is required.

3. Ability to perform independently on maintenance and commissioning tasks, and capable of leading a small team.

4. At least 2 years of relevant work experience is required.

5. English proficiency is required.

6. NC II certification is an advantage.

7. Safety Officer 2 (COSH) is required.
