Project Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for a Project Engineer who will supervise direct/indirectly the project installation to meet project requirements, all documentation needed, other support concerns on site.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provides technical services to the sales team to help them achieve their objectives and meet customer requirements.

• Attend Site Visits and Installation requirements by sales group.
• Attend or perform product consultations either by phone, online meeting, or face-to-face.
• Prepare Project Estimate with assistance of design engineer.
• Prepare project quotation with complete costing, details, and scope of works.
• Attend project bidding for project requirements.
• Coordinate to purchasing for project contractor needed on site visit.
• Prepare necessary documents on project pre-requirements.

Supervise project members on-site to meet needed requirements during installation in different project locations to meet quality, safety requirements, and timeliness of project completion.

• Supervise project installation handled by Lead Technician and Technical Supervisor.
• Attend project concerns from time to time and check project progress from time to time.
• Prepare testing and commissioning documents and attend testing procedure with technical designer.
• Conduct weekly progress meeting with technicians and supervisors at site.
• Update Project monitoring board.

Supervise Project members on Preventive Maintenance Requirements such as:

• Gathering Preventive Maintenance report and prepare Preventive Maintenance Summary.
• Prepare Preventive Maintenance Report in PowerPoint to submit to customer.
• Prepare quotation for repair works.

Assist to develop and establish the market for Panel Board, LPS and Lighting, Lighting controls product line, and other related brands.

• Submit Weekly Report for all project visitation, quotation, and project progress report.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by Immediate Head and/or Top Management from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
• Registered Electrical Engineer licensed is an advantage
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• With prior leadership experience (handling personnel under supervision)
• Familiar with lighting design and project management
• Proficient in Dialux, Relux, Lighting Simulation software, and other related design softwares
• Well versed in project management and people management
• Knowledge in Lighting Control System such as DALI, DMX, Wireless Control, Occupancy Sensors, and Daylight Control
