What Site Reliability Engineer Look Forward to Doing Well

The Site Reliability Engineer will design and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, working with development and operations teams to automate processes and ensure high service availability. This role is ideal for those with foundational cloud experience looking to advance their AWS and SRE skills.

What You Will Do

• Monitoring and maintaining AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, as well as developing CI/CD automation scripts to streamline deployment processes.
• Assist in designing monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail while participating in on-call rotations for incident response.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Why You?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and participation in on-call rotations for incident management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
