Position Overview:

• The Sr. Architect is responsible for leading the design, planning, and implementation of architectural projects from concept to completion. This role ensures that all architectural works are compliant with building codes, design standards, and client requirements while coordinating closely with engineers, consultants, and the construction team to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Planning

• Lead design development from conceptualization through final documentation

• Create detailed drawings, renderings, and 3D models using CAD and BIM software

• Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure design feasibility

• Review and approve construction documents for compliance with codes and regulations

• Mentor and supervise junior designers and drafters

• Conduct site visits and provide input during construction phases

• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and sustainability goals

• Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and best practices

2. Project Coordination

• Oversee the development of architectural concepts, drawings, and models

• Supervise and mentor design teams throughout project phases

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning requirements

• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants on design solutions

• Review and approve technical documents, renderings, and presentations

• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure delivery within scope

• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders

3. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents for accuracy.

• Ensure all design and construction documents are up-to-date and aligned with project specifications.

• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.

• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with ISO standards (if applicable).

4. Construction Support

• Conduct site inspections to monitor design implementation and ensure quality and accuracy.

• Evaluate and resolve design-related issues encountered during construction.

• Provide technical guidance to the construction team when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture required, master’s preferred

• Licensed Architect (Registered and PRC holder preferred)

• 8–10 years of experience in architectural design roles

• Proven record leading large-scale or complex architectural projects

• Strong background in sustainable design and green building practices

• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary design teams

• Familiarity with emerging technologies in design and construction
