Construction Engineer

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, or
• related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing building construction projects,
• preferably from start to finish.

• Certifications (Preferred):
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification

• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera).
• With leadership, communication, and organizational skill
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to safety standards.

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage the entire building construction process from project initiation to completion.
• Prepare, review, and approve construction plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, timelines, and budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance and resolve any technical operational issues.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Lead and supervise construction teams and subcontractors on site.
• Generate progress reports and timely communicate updates to the management.
• Address any delays, risks, or challenges proactively and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate site meetings and maintain proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
