Responsibilities

• Operate industrial or domestic sewing machines.
• Stitch fabric pieces together according to patterns or instructions.
• Alter and repair garments or textile products as required.
• Inspect materials and finished products for defects.
• Measure, cut, and prepare fabric before sewing when needed.
• Replace machine needles, thread machines, and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Keep the work area clean and follow workplace safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.       
• Previous sewing or garment manufacturing experience is an advantage      
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment      
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Basic understanding of garment construction or product assembly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily production quota    
• Ability to follow patterns, specifications, and work instructions
