• Sew, stitch and assemble automotive upholstery components such as car seats, door panels, headrests and interiors according to design specifications.
• Operate industrial sewing machines (single-needle, double-needle, overlock etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Follow patterns, templates and blueprints to ensure accurate stitching and alignment.
• Inspect materials, cut fabrics and ensure quality standards are met before and after sewing.
• Repair or rework defective upholstery parts as needed.
• Collaborate with the upholstery, trimming and fitting teams to ensure proper installation of sew covers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and production schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Experience in an automotive upholstery sewing is an advantage.
• Knowledge in different fabric types, leather, foam and sewing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new upholstery or sewing methods.
