The Sewer is responsible for assembling garments according to specifications, patterns, and production standards. The role ensures that garments are sewn accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company quality requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least high school graduate or vocational training in sewing, dressmaking, or tailoring.
2. Minimum of 6 months experience in garment sewing or equivalent. 
3. Knowledge in garment construction and sewing techniques
4. Skilled in operating industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, coverstitch, etc)
5. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
6. Ability to follow instructions and meet production deadlines



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sew garment parts according to production patterns, technical specifications and instructions.
2. Operate industrial sewing machines and tools safely and efficiently.
3. Ensure stitching quality, seam strength, and proper finishing.
4. Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
5. Inspect own work for defects and make necessary adjustments
6. Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of materials, tools and equipment
7. Comply with company policies, safety rules, and quality standards
8. Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors
