Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier to enhance our guests' dining experience by curating exceptional wine selections and providing expert recommendations. The ideal candidate will have extensive wine knowledge, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to pair wines perfectly with our menu.

Job Description:

• Curate, update, and manage the restaurant’s wine list and inventory.
• Recommend wine pairings based on guests’ preferences and menu choices.
• Educate staff on wine selections, tasting notes, and proper service techniques.
• Conduct wine tastings and events to engage and educate guests.
• Maintain relationships with wine suppliers and negotiate pricing.
• Ensure proper wine storage and service standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service and create an exceptional dining experience.
• Stay updated on wine trends, vintages, and industry developments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of similar experience in a restaurant preferably fine dining or wine-focused restaurant.
• WSET Certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of fine dining service etiquette and standards.
• Advanced knowledge of wine, food pairings, and wine service
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
