We are currently seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist / Tech SEO Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Senior SEO Specialist / Tech SEO Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing advanced technical SEO strategies to enhance website performance and visibility. This role involves leading and restructuring the SEO specialist team, managing SEO campaigns for Verz Design and our clients, executing backlink building initiatives, supporting SEO account managers in pitching and identifying opportunities, and focusing on client retention and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be result-driven, aiming to improve performance and increase client satisfaction.

• Lead SEO Specialist Team: Manage and mentor the SEO specialist team, providing guidance and support. Lead team restructuring efforts to optimize team performance and efficiency.
• Technical SEO Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive technical SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and website performance.
• Execute SEO Campaigns: Oversee the execution of SEO campaigns for Verz Design and our clients, ensuring alignment with overall digital marketing goals and objectives.
• Backlink Building: Develop and implement effective backlink building strategies to enhance domain authority and improve search engine rankings.
• Support Account Managers: Assist SEO account managers in pitching new SEO strategies and identifying opportunities for growth. Provide technical insights and recommendations to support client proposals.
• Client Retention: Support client retention efforts by focusing on continuous improvement, addressing client needs proactively, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Optimization: Optimize website architecture, including site speed, mobile responsiveness, and URL structures, to enhance search engine visibility and user experience.
• Website Audits: Conduct thorough technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site structure, indexing, crawling, and performance.
• Analytics: Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms to monitor and analyze website performance, and provide actionable insights.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and address technical issues impacting SEO, such as broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.
• Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on technical SEO performance, offering recommendations for optimization and growth.
• Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical SEO with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
