Job Description

·          Leads and supports a team to achieve results.

·          Provides overall guidance and structure for creating and maintaining the organization’s software development efforts.

·          Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements (country-specific, state-specific, and local laws and regulations) and their implications for PGC business; understands frameworks such as Lean, ISO, ITIL, etc.

·          Conducts analysis, design, planning, and implementation using a comprehensive approach to ensure successful development and execution of strategy.

·          Defines and agrees on the scope of PGC’s deliverables for specific processes, considering PGC’s strengths and capabilities (people, process, technology), client relationships, and client requirements.

·          Understands relevant technologies used to design architectures and implement solutions.  Plans and implements the transition of new processes or process upgrades.

Deliver

·          99% completion of all assigned tasks within agreed time and scope for new projects.

·          99% completion of all assigned tasks within agreed time and scope for enhancements to existing services or products.

·          99% compliance with SLA for L3 support on in‑house–developed software.

·          Compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

Qualifications

·          Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or equivalent

·          Proficient in Agile Software Development, Scrum, and Kanban

·          Experience in managing teams for 3 years

·          Experience in using JIRA for 3 years

·          Knowledgeable in SDLC for 3 years

·          Knowledgeable in Windows and Linux operating systems 

·          Knowledgeable in several of the following languages: HTML/CSS, Node.js, Java, Python, PHP, Kotlin, Swift, SQL

·          Knowledgeable in SOAP and RESTful web services

·          Knowledgeable in Git version‑control system

·          Knowledgeable in database management software such as Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis

·          Knowledgeable in containerization using Docker

·          Knowledgeable in CI/CD using Jenkins and similar tools

·          Knowledgeable in AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
