Description

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team as a Senior HR Specialist focusing on Employee Engagement and Employee Relations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all facets of HR, with a strong emphasis on creating a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and managing employee relations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement programs that align with our organizational goals while fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.


  • Employee Engagement:
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and programs to improve overall employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular surveys and focus groups to gauge employee morale and engagement levels.
  • Collaborate with leadership to promote initiatives that support a positive organizational culture.
  • Plan and execute employee recognition programs and events.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Provide guidance to management and employees on company policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Mediate disputes and facilitate resolutions that align with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure that employee relations activities are conducted fairly and consistently across the organization.
  • HR Strategy & Policy Development:
  • Partner with senior management to develop HR policies and procedures that support the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Lead efforts to ensure that HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Stay current on HR best practices and emerging trends to continuously improve HR operations.
  • Talent Management:
  • Support the development and implementation of performance management systems that align with organizational goals.
  • Assist in the design and execution of training and development programs that support employee growth and career progression.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure a positive candidate experience and successful onboarding process.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Provide input into the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct regular market research to ensure that the company’s compensation structure remains competitive.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR, with significant experience in employee engagement and employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of all HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex HR issues.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable.
