Role Overview

The Data Analytics Supervisor (Dispatch Manager) bridges real-time field operations and business intelligence. This role oversees dispatch logistics, leads a team of dispatchers and operational analysts, and leverages data analytics to optimize routing, minimize delivery/service response times, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and schedule a team of dispatchers and data analysts; set performance metrics and conduct regular reviews.
• Operational Analytics: Analyze dispatch, fleet, and route data using SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Python to identify bottlenecks and optimize delivery/service SLA compliance.
• Dispatch Management: Oversee real-time dispatch systems (CAD/Fleet Management software), ensuring high-priority escalations are resolved swiftly.
• Process Optimization: Build dynamic forecasting models to predict peak volume hours and adjust staffing/fleet allocation accordingly.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Develop automated dashboards for executive leadership to track key performance indicators (KPIs) like Cost Per Delivery, On-Time In-Full (OTIF) rates, and idle time.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in dispatch or fleet operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and SQL required; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and route-optimization software (e.g., Samsara, Verizon Connect, ORTEC) preferred.
• Core Competencies: Strong critical thinking under pressure, root-cause analysis, clear communication, and conflict resolution.
