Job Summary:

The Sales Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to improve the sales team’s product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement. This role also requires strong driving skills to effectively demonstrate vehicle features, conduct test drive

training, and ensure sales staff are confident in presenting vehicles to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement sales training programs for new and existing sales personnel
• Conduct training on automotive products, specifications, features, and competitive advantages
• Train the sales team on effective selling techniques, negotiation skills, and customer handling
• Demonstrate proper vehicle operation, features, and safety functions through actual driving sessions
• Conduct and supervise test drive training to ensure sales staff can confidently assist customers
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training, including ride-along evaluations
• Develop training materials such as manuals, presentations, and guides
• Assess training needs based on sales performance and feedback
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Support new vehicle launches by providing product and driving orientation
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies during demonstrations
• Coordinate with Sales Managers to align training with sales targets and strategies
• Prepare reports on training progress, attendance, and performance metrics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Proven experience in automotive sales and/or sales training
• Strong knowledge of automotive products and industry trends
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proven ability to drive vehicles
• Experience in conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives is an advantage
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
