Description
- Meets with clients to determine travel needs, budgets, and preferences.
- Sells and coordinates transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities.
- Achieve sales quotas.
- Advise clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities.
- Generate sales leads.
- Maintain a database of sales leads.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals.
- Monitor competitors and customer demand to provide market updates for strategy development.
- Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds.
- Provide first-level responses to clients' requests and requirements.
- Respond to inquiries on venue facilities and details.
- Recommend a range of products and services according to the client's needs.
- Attends travel seminars and conferences.
- Researches destinations and industry trends.
- Maintains accurate bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls, and meeting records.
- Contributes to company efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A graduate of a Bachelor's degree major in Business Studies/Sales & Marketing/Entrepreneur/Economics
- At least 1-year experience in Sales
- Strong sales and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Excellent knowledge of computer reservation computer programs
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Working knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
