Description

The IT Sales Head is responsible for overseeing and driving the sales strategy for the company’s IT products and services. This role requires leadership skills, a strong understanding of the IT market, and the ability to establish and nurture relationships with key clients and partners. The IT Sales Head will lead a team of sales professionals, ensuring that sales targets are met and the company's business objectives are achieved.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase revenue and market share for IT solutions (hardware, software, managed services, etc.).

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors to identify new sales opportunities.

• Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.


Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, motivation, and support.

• Conduct regular training and performance reviews to ensure the team is knowledgeable about products and sales techniques.

• Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration within the sales team.


Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Serve as a senior point of contact for major clients and complex sales negotiations.

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure the proposed solutions meet their requirements.


Sales Operations:

• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

• Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, providing regular updates to senior management.

• Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.


Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:

• Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and product offerings.

• Collaborate with the pre-sales and post-sales teams to ensure smooth transitions and customer satisfaction.


Market Expansion & Partnerships:

• Identify new market segments and channels for expanding the business.

• Establish strategic partnerships with third-party vendors, resellers, and distributors to broaden the company’s reach.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Requirements

Experience:

• At least 1 year experience in IT sales.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the IT sector.

• Strong experience in managing a sales team and leading cross-functional initiatives.

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.


Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Deep understanding of IT products and solutions (hardware, software, cloud services, etc.).

• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

• Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to drive sales strategies.

• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
