Position Summary

The Associate Presales Engineer supports the Presales Manager by providing technical assistance throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity qualification to proposal submission.

The role is responsible for preparing technical proposals, solution designs, bill of materials (BOM), product documentation, and engineering support for Enetek Power's portfolio, including DC Power Systems, Rectifier Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), UPS, and related energy infrastructure solutions. This position serves as the technical bridge between Sales, Customers, Engineering to ensure timely and accurate technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Presales Support

• Assist the Presales Manager in preparing technical proposals and commercial support documents.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) based on customer requirements.
• Develop technical solution designs and equipment sizing.
• Prepare compliance matrices for customer tenders and bidding documents.
• Review customer technical specifications and identify suitable Enetek solutions.
• Prepare technical clarifications during the bidding process.

Solution Engineering

• Assist in designing DC Power Systems, Rectifier Systems, Battery Systems, BESS, UPS, and other energy solutions.
• Perform basic electrical calculations, load analysis, battery sizing, and power capacity assessments.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable industry standards.

Proposal Documentation

• Prepare:
• Technical proposals
• Product datasheets
• Technical specifications
• Installation scope summaries
• Maintain proposal templates and technical document libraries.
• Ensure accuracy and version control of all technical documents.

Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with Engineering teams regarding:
• Product configurations
• Technical clarifications
• Customized solutions
• New product introductions

Customer Support

• Attend customer meetings together with the Presales Manager.
• Participate in technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Respond to customer technical inquiries.
• Assist in site surveys and technical assessments when required.

Tender & Bid Support

• Prepare documentation required for tenders/biddings.
• Complete technical compliance checklists.
• Organize required certifications and manufacturer documents.
• Assist in bid submission requirements.

Product Knowledge

Develop expertise in Enetek products including:

• DC Power Systems
• Telecom Rectifier Systems
• Lithium Battery Solutions
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• UPS Systems
• Hybrid Power Systems
• Monitoring & Control Systems
• Power Distribution Systems

Documentation Management

• Maintain and update:
• Quotation Funnel
• Technical drawings
• Product manuals
• Installation guides
• Engineering calculations
• Customer technical database

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, presales engineering, or electrical design is preferred.
• Experience in power systems, telecom infrastructure, renewable energy, or industrial electrical systems is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with internship experience in power or energy solutions may also be considered.
