Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise and sales skills to deliver customized solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, preparing technical proposals, conducting client presentations, and driving sales from lead generation to project closing.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Solution Design & Proposal Preparation

• Conduct site visits and assess customer energy requirements.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Team to develop customized solar system designs.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and financial analyses.
• Present energy savings and return on investment (ROI) to prospective clients.

Client Consultation & Technical Support

• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Explain solar system components, installation processes, and project timelines.
• Respond to technical inquiries and recommend the most suitable solutions.
• Provide continuous client support throughout the sales process.

Sales Administration

• Maintain accurate records of sales leads, opportunities, proposals, and contracts.
• Coordinate with Project Management and Finance teams to ensure smooth project implementation and client onboarding.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.

Technical Development

• Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, products, and industry regulations.
• Participate in product training, seminars, and industry events to enhance technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Engineer (REE, RME, or CE) is an advantage but not required.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in solar energy, electrical products, engineering services, or related industries.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals and conducting client presentations is preferred.
