Sales Account Executive

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Development and Client Acquisition

• Identify, prospect, and develop new customers for petroleum oil products, particularly gasoline and other fuel-related products.
• Conduct regular field visits to potential and existing customers to promote the company's products and services.
• Generate sales leads and convert prospects into long-term business accounts.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by Management.

Account Management

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Regularly monitor customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and supply solutions.
• Address customer concerns, inquiries, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and account retention.

Sales Negotiation and Documentation

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales agreements in accordance with company policies.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
• Facilitate the completion and submission of necessary sales documents and customer accreditation requirements.

Order Processing and Coordination

• Receive and process customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with the Operations, Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance Departments to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
• Monitor order status and provide updates to customers regarding deliveries and product availability.

Collection and Credit Monitoring

• Assist in monitoring customer accounts and payment status.
• Follow up outstanding receivables and coordinate with customers regarding due and overdue accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company credit and collection policies.

Market Intelligence and Business Development

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and industry developments within the petroleum sector.
• Gather and report market information that may contribute to business growth and strategic planning.
• Recommend sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share and revenue.

Reporting and Record Keeping

• Submit accurate and timely sales reports, activity reports, customer visit reports, and forecasts.
• Maintain updated customer records, sales pipelines, and account information.
• Ensure proper documentation of all sales transactions and customer communications.

Compliance and Safety

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to petroleum products.
• Observe and promote safety standards during customer visits, fuel deliveries, and all sales-related activities.
• Ensure ethical business practices and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Other Duties

• Represent the company professionally during meetings, trade events, and business activities.
• Perform other sales-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time to support business operations and objectives.
