Duties & Responsibilities:

· Serves as Secretary to the Health and Safety Committee.

· Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers.

· Conducts investigation and accidents as member of the Health and Safety Committee and submits his separate report and analysis of accidents to the employer.

· Coordinates all health and safety training programs for the employees and employer.

· Conducts health and safety inspection.

· Maintains and helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.

· For purposes of effectiveness in workplace where full-time safety man is required, he shall report directly to the top management.

· Coordinate with the HR Officer regarding erring subordinates that hinders to promote safety.

· Facilitates tool box meeting together with Project Manager and Project Engineer

· Ensures cleanliness and awareness regarding the use of complete PPE among employees

at the jobsite.

Performs any other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably with experience on the same position in a construction setting
  • With COSH certification
  • Familiar in Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
  • With experience in establishing a Construction Safety and Health Programs is preferred
  • Willing to be assigned in ANY project sites if needed
  • Physically and mentally healthy
