Key Responsibilities:

A. Safety Officer Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard assessments.
  • Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and prepare reports.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain safety records and documentation.

B. Project In-Charge Duties:

  • Supervise daily site operations and manpower.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare work schedules and assign tasks.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Monitor materials usage and request procurement when needed.
  • Submit daily, weekly, or monthly progress reports.
  • Address on-site issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Certified Safety Officer 2 (e.g., COSH/BOSH accredited).
  • At least 2 years experience in construction/project supervision in high rise projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and construction standards.
