Retail Sales Associate

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

• Promote and sell toy products to retail stores, wholesalers, and direct customers.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell new toy lines to increase revenue.

2. Product Knowledge

• Maintain a deep understanding of toy features, safety standards, age-appropriateness, and trends.
• Demonstrate how toys work to clients, buyers, and customers.

3. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with store managers, distributors, and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely follow-up.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis

• Monitor toy market trends, seasonal demands, and popular character/brand trends.
• Analyse competitor products, pricing, and promotions.
• Suggest new product ideas or improvements based on customer demand.

5. Merchandising & Display

• Ensure toys are properly displayed in retail stores.
• Set up promotional stands, demos, and in-store displays.
• Coordinate with store staff to maintain stock visibility and appeal.

6. Order Management

• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately.
• Manage inventory levels at client locations and recommend restocking.
• Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams for timely delivery.

7. Reporting

• Provide weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
• Track sales performance, customer visits, and feedback.
• Record customer data and maintain a CRM system.

8. Marketing Support

• Participate in promotional events, toy fairs, and product launches.
• Collect customer insights to help marketing teams improve advertising.
• Demonstrate products during trade shows or in-store events.

9. Negotiation & Pricing

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with retailers or distributors.
• Offer discounts or promotions within company guidelines.

10. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all toys sold meet safety regulations and certifications.
• Educate retailers on proper labeling, warnings, and safe usage.
